An exciting opportunity to make an impact in the fast-growing Gwydir Shire Council.

Gwydir Shire Council is located on the Northwest slopes and plains of NSW, approximately 560kms north of Sydney and 430kms southwest of Brisbane. Incorporating an area of 9122 square kilometres the shire extends from the Nandewar Range in the southern end and goes close to the NSW/QLD boarder in the northern end.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for management of minor projects and the preparation of Civil Engineering project construction, drawing and specifications to enable the delivery of Councils Programs and Annual Operation Plan

This will involve validating project scopes, collating and assessing quotations, approvals and engagement of consultants, reviewing detailed designs and cost estimates and undertaking public consultation.

This position provides above award wages, classification will be dependent on skills and experience. This also includes a Council Vehicle with unlimited private use.
