Updated Construction Start Date – Bingara Streets

Gwydir Shire Council previously advised that roadworks would commence on Monday 2 June 2025, on the following Bingara streets:

• Heber Street – between Byrnes Street and Reading Lane

• Martyn Street – between Pound Street and Dinoga Street

Please note that these works have now commenced and the works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 17 June 2025 weather permitting.

The works involve pavement stabilisation and bitumen sealing and are expected to cause some disruption to residents and road users. Traffic control measures will be in place, including partial and full road closures as required.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and appreciates your understanding and cooperation during these essential works.
