The objective of Council's recruitment program is to select the best person for the position by matching applications to all criteria requirements of the position advertised and our organisational needs.
Council is required under the Local Government (State) Award to advertise vacancies, in a manner to 'enable suitably qualified persons to apply for the position".
Selection of staff is based on merit in relation to the selection criteria. As such applicants are asked to address the selection criteria in their application. The selection criteria for each position is outlined in the Position Description
