Gwydir Shire Council's Christmas and New Year Trading Hours 2022/2023

NOTICE is hereby given that Gwydir Shire Council will operate on reduced services during the Christmas / New Year period. All Administration offices – including Customer Service Offices will CLOSE at 12:00pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and reopen at 9:00am Tuesday 03 January 2023.
Garbage Collections
All waste collections services will be collected as usual on scheduled days INCLUDING PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

Commonwealth Home Support Program Offices (CHSP)
Warialda CHSP Office will CLOSE from 12:30pm Friday 23 December 2022 and reopen on Monday 16 January 2023.
Bingara CHSP Office will CLOSE at 3:00pm Thursday 22 December 2022 and reopen on Monday 9 January 2023.
Tourist Information Centres
Bingara and Warialda Tourist Information Centres will CLOSE from 12:00pm Friday 23 December 2022 and return to normal operating hours from Tuesday 03 January 2023 at 9:00am.
Roxy Theatre Tours will resume in 2023 each Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Centrelink (Bingara)
Bingara Centrelink Office will CLOSE from 12:00pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and return to normal operating hours from Tuesday 03 January 2023.
Libraries
Warialda Library will CLOSE from 5pm on Thursday 22nd of December 2022.
Bingara Library will CLOSE from 12:30pm on Friday 23 December 2022. Both libraries will return to normal operating hours on Tuesday 03 January 2023.
Toy Libraries
Warialda Toy Library will CLOSE from 12:30pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and reopen on Tuesday 31 January 2023.
Bingara Toy Library will CLOSE from 12:30pm Thursday 22 December 2022 and reopen on Tuesday 31 January 2023.
Vacation Care
Vacation care programs will be delivered in Bingara at the Bingara Toy Library from Monday 16 January 2023 to Friday 20 January 2023, and in Warialda at the Warialda Toy Library from Monday 9 January 2023 to Friday 13 January 2023. Bingara Preschool will CLOSE Friday 16 December 2022 and return on Tuesday 31 January 2023.
Tharawonga Mobile Preschool will CLOSE Friday 16 December 2022 and return Monday 06 February 2023.
