Upcoming Construction Works – Warialda Streets

Gwydir Shire Council will be undertaking construction works on the following Warialda urban streets from Saturday 14 June 2025 to Friday 20 June 2025, weather permitting:

• Hope Street – between Plunkett Street and Holden Street

• Market Street – between Geddes Street and Hope Street

• Gragin Road – Various Locations between East Street and Heavy Vehicle Bypass

The works involve pavement stabilisation and bitumen sealing and are expected to cause some disruption to residents and road users. Traffic control measures will be in place, including partial and full road closures as required.

Work hours will be from 7:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am to 2:00pm Saturday. Please note: Saturday works will only take place on Market Street and Gragin Road.
