Hire of Animal Traps

Gwydir Shire Council has traps available for hire for the trapping of dogs, cats and nuisance smaller animals. Traps can be hired for 1 day or for a week. The cost of trap hire can be found here Gwydir - Fees & Charges - Fees & Charges (lgsolutions.net.au)

Arrangements can be made with the Rangers to remove the animal from the premises.


To book for a trap, please contact Council’s Ranger Services on 02 6724 2000 to ensure a trap is available.

Council also has portable cattle yards and a loading ramp available to hire.
