Project Overview
Gwydir Shire Council is seeking an independent review of its cemetery services to assess current operations, governance arrangements, records and information management practices, asset management requirements, legislative compliance, and future service delivery needs.
The review will provide Council with recommendations to support the sustainable and effective management of cemetery operations into the future.
Scope of Services
The successful consultant will be required to undertake a comprehensive review that may include:
- Review of existing cemetery management practices and operations.
- Assessment of governance and legislative compliance requirements.
- Evaluation of records and information management systems.
- Review of cemetery assets and maintenance practices.
- Identification of operational efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Consideration of future service delivery and long-term sustainability.
- Development of recommendations and an implementation roadmap.
