Gravesend Landfill – Open

Work at the Gravesend Landfill is now complete and the site is now open as normal. Up until this afternoon, the facility had previously been restricted to household waste.

Gwydir Shire Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the construction period. The upgrades will significantly extend the lifespan of the facility and improve accessibility for residents when disposing waste in the appropriate piles.
