Gravesend Water Update

Today, Tuesday 5 August 2025, Council staff undertook testing of water directly from taps in Gravesend residences. All readings for chlorine concentration were well within limits specified in the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG).

Council anticipates that chlorine levels will gradually drop over coming days.

As levels remain within the ADWG, the water remains fit for household use, including drinking water.
