Hire of Animal Traps

Gwydir Shire Council has traps available for hire for the trapping of dogs, cats and nuisance smaller animals. Traps can be hired for a period of 1 day for $8.00 or 7 days for $37.00. Arrangements can be made with the Rangers to remove the animal from the premises.

To book for a trap, please contact Council’s Ranger Services on 02 6724 2000 to ensure a trap is available.

Council also has portable cattle yards and a loading ramp available to hire.
