Living Classroom Attendant

Gwydir Shire Council are offering an exciting opportunity for you to make a real meaningful difference in your community and to be part of our supportive and friendly team as the Living Classroom Attendant.

The Living Classroom is a regenerative project to bring both people and new ideas, framed around the exploration of sustainable farming for the future. The Living classroom provides classrooms, teaching areas, bunk accommodation, productive gardens and grazing lots, and agricultural facilities to teach high school and TAFE proficiencies in organic gardening, aquaculture, sustainable grazing and local food production.

This is a full-time position for 38 hours per week, working a 9-day fortnight based in Bingara.

The position is classified as Grade 3 (Band 1, Level 3) with a commencing salary of $1020.15 per week.
