Draft Integrated Planning and Reporting Documents
All councils in NSW use the IP&R framework to guide their planning and reporting activities. The Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) Guidelines were first issued by the Office of Local Government (OLG) in 2010. The Guidelines have been updated to reflect legislative changes enacted through the Local Government Amendment (Governance and Planning) Act 2016. The requirements for IP&R are set out in the Local Government Act 1993 (the Act) and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2021 (the Regulation).
Gwydir Shire Council use the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework to guide our community engagement and align our vision to that of the community. This vision along with the community's own vision and aspirations, assists council in developing an integrated and meaningful set of business plans that lays out how we will work with our community to achieve these visions.
The draft Delivery Program and Operational Plan is now on public exhibition along with the reviewed Community Strategic Plan. Community members are invited to review the documents and provide written submissions during the exhibition period. All submissions received by the closing date will be considered before the Plans are finalised and adopted.
Written submissions will be received up until 4.00pm 06/06/2025 and are to be addressed to:
