Surplus Items and Equipment Sale

Sale of Items and Surplus Equipment 

Gwydir Shire Council is disposing of surplus items and equipment. These items include vehicles, small buildings, and small machinery and will be offered to the Gwydir community through a blind bidding process. All bid values will be hidden. The closing date for bid submissions is the 31st May 2024. The highest bid for each item after the closing date will be accepted and the item released upon successful payment. It will be the sole responsibility of the successful purchaser to remove their item/s.  

If you would like to submit a bid for an item please complete a Bid Submission Form. Forms can be submitted electronically to procurement@gwydir.nsw.gov.au or they can be submitted into the Bid Submission boxes located at both Visitor Information Centres in Bingara and Warialda. Hard copies of the form will also be available at both Information Centres. Please ensure you complete all sections of the form. Non-legible or incomplete bids will not be considered. Only bidders that have been successful will be contacted. All bids are inclusive of GST. Please ensure you read the disclaimer below before submitting a bid.

• All items are sold as is and with no guarantee or warranty.  

• All photos on the Gwydir Shire Council website form part of the description of the item for sale, however, these photos and information should not be relied on solely and may not depict any damage to the sale item. Photos are a guide only and inspection of the items is recommended. 

• Gwydir Shire council reserves the right to not accept any bid. 

• Items will be available for collection upon payment. 

• It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to remove and transport items. 

• Gwydir Shire Council will not be responsible for any damages that may occur during the removal or transport of the items.
